A recent publication from PNAS found that wearing a mask reduces COVID-19 self infection. This study is a collaborative research between NIDDK (National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases) and CDHE (Center for Deaf Health Equity). The deaf signer sample recruited by CDHE contributed to this important finding.
